auto clicker works on VPS
Apparently the problem is since the VPS does not have a real keyboard or mouse, there is a feature in windows that if the computer does not have a real keyboard or mouse, windows will not let you simulate a keyboard or mouse. This is why the auto clicker or bot will work when your connected to the VPS (because the VPS is using you keyboard and mouse, so the bot or auto clicker is as well), but when you disconnect from your VPS the simulation will stop. This is fine for bots that use http request or browser commands, but bots that rely on the keyboard and mouse (like auto clickers) will just sit there and do nothing, until you log back in.
Here is a solution I have found that fixes this problem. So you can run an auto clicker or any other bot, while you’re disconnected from your VPS.
#1 Connect to your VPS like normal using your RDP file or manually entering the information.
#2 Work on your VPS
#3 When you are done working on your VPS, and let’s just say for example you’re ready to run your auto clicker on your VPS, open CMD on the VPS (windows key + R and then type CMD).
#4 Type "query session"
#5 Look for the one that has >RDP-tcp#
Look at the session ID number for it, it should be a low number like 2
#6 Now type in CMD "tscon 2 /dest:console" but dont hit enter yet!
#7 Run your bot or autoclicker and make sure it has a startup delay of at least a few seconds.
#8 Open the CMD window that you have typed in "tscon 2 /dest:console" and hit enter.
#9 It should disconnect you and give you an error, so just close this and then you’re done!
#10 The next time you want to connect to your VPS you need to connect to it in a specific way.
#11 Open CMD on your local computer and type "mstsc /v:IP -f /console" where IP is the IP of your VPS
#12 It should open up a box that you can type the password into.
#13 Now your connected to your VPS and your auto clicker or bot ran the whole time you were gone!
Now as for why this works, I am not one hundred percent clear, but here is my explanation of it. The console is the local computers user. So on your local computer right now, your logged into your console. When you use the regular RDP you just create a new session on your VPS and then close it when you disconnect. You never log into the console or real session the VPS is running. The "tscon 2 /dest:console" tells the VPS to “on disconnect” transfer the current session to the real session for the VPS. When you login to the VPS using "mstsc /v:IP -f /console" this tells your computer to connect to the VPS's real session and not to make up a temporary session.
Hopefully this helps future programmers and bot users.
